Hey, everyone. I recently found out I passed the hiring process to attend COTA for Pima County, AZ. The academy starts later this month. Just looking to get some insight/tips/advice on the training and job in general, and maybe some perspective from the female officers on the site.
About me:
I'm a female, mid-twenties, Air Force veteran. Been married a few years. My husband and I were stationed in Tucson and we liked it enough to buy a house, so this is home now. No previous experience working with or in law enforcement, so this will be a completely new world to me, but I'm looking forward to the change.
