H'lo, folks, old retired guy here but still involved. Retired from Shreveport where (thankfully) they keep consider retirees regularly appointed police officers. I live in Colorado and have kept up my annual certification. I direct several annual LEO-related courses at Indiana University each year.
For me, law enforcement is like a fraternity and cops everywhere are my brothers and sisters. I realize some cops don't feel that way but I'm from the South and down there we look out after our own kind as long as they let us.
