hows it going guys.....im from Barrington, RI and i am currently in the process of becoming a corrections officer in Cranston, RI at the ACI......i am currently in college and only have a couple of classes left to recieve my associates degree in criminal justice.....i work as a carpenter for now but hope to pass the rest of my tests for corrections...my next test is in january i believe....they pushed back the test dates due to funding so i am waiting patiently on that

Welcome, Also Corrections and Criminal Justice are two different fields so make sure you are taking the right classes for the Career you want!!

well the RIDOC doesnt require a degree or anything like that....the degree is more for if i apply to a town agency later on if i dont make it through the hiring process....thanks for the tip though
