Hello from wisconsin

Hello everyone my name is Derek. I am 20 years old and have always wanted to be a Leo. I went through a hiring process when I was 18, needless to say I was not hired but made it to the final interview with the chief of police. I was pleased with my first attempt especially with my age but I am the type of person who doesn't except failure and got a little down on myself but I now realize what a great learning experience it was! That's just a little about me and the experience I have had so far.
I really want to thank all of the leo's who help to protect their community and I hope someday I will be able to join all of you to help better my community. Thank you all again and I look forward to learning as much as I can from this forum.
