Hello,

My name is Jonathan I am 20 and currently in college working towards my degree. I was always searching for a career field for which I had a passion, and in November of 08 I found Law Enforcement. I enjoy helping others, and to tell the truth the laws here are quiet interesting. I hope to start the academy with in the next year or two. I work part time now for the local police department as a civilian, I am one of the crossing guards, good hours for school and it's a good to be outside daily.

well yes and no... I an certified by the state (graduated from the academy) but I am not commissioned yet. I am still looking for a job.

Where are you looking? Did you check the Texas Municipal League Career Listings? They usually add police listings every day.

you dont have to log in, just hit job search, scroll down and highlight police and hit search...there are quite a few job listings.

No I have not, thank you. I looked in my immediate area to see if anyone was hiring since I turn 21 soon.
