I would like to thank every LEO on this site as you have given me a lot of valuable information about the hiring process and more importantly the coveted "position". I am currently in the first steps of the background investigation and definitely owe a great portion of my success with the oral boards to everyone here on this website.
Overall my chances are good as the department is going to hire 10 new recruits and I am currently in the top 25. This is before the BI's are completed and before the 10% bump for being prior military. I do not like to wish ill-will on people but in this case I hope a handful or two will not pass their BI.
