Hey all, MN85 here... Have read a bit on these forums off and on the past year or so, finally decided to register a username here and hopefully start posting.
I live in MN - Twin Cities area, hoping to land a job in the very near future, but we'll see (this economy and hiring freeze doesn't help much, unfortunately).
I've got a B.S. in Crim Justice - Law Enforcement, completed SKILLS at ATC last summer, took (and passed) the P.O.S.T. test this past fall, and have been applying all over the state since then. I'm a reserve officer with a local P.D., which I find extremely helpful in keeping up with (and continuing to learn) laws, 10-code, statutes, etc... but there's still so much out there that I have yet to learn; then again, that's part of this job - always something new.
Anyway, pretty sure I'll be reading more than I post, but either way - glad to join a community of L.E.O.'s with lots of knowledge!
