I'm a high school language arts teacher. This is my third year of teaching freshmen literature/composition here in Georgia. Up until this school year my husband was working on his college degree in criminal justice. Last spring, he did his internship with a sheriff's department, applied with that agency, and was one of the few who were hired for this year (huge budget cuts in the county).
He's currently going through the academy in the Fulton County Public Safety Training Center in College Park, GA. He loves working in LE so far although he's missing being at home with me. However, overall we are much happier right now. He loves doing something productive with his life.
I like to think of us as community service dynamic duo. We both do thankless jobs for the people of our county.
