Getting logged off every other day.

System logs me out every 48 hrs. No more login forever. Using IPad.
Any fixes?

Is it really wise to stay logged on forever? I log on and off every time I visit. That way no one can hack in on my id... or at least it's less likely.

No, you really only need be concerned about someone in your own household, or if you are wireless, someone accessing "you" as you here if you are always logged on.

Yeah, I guess you're right... the "always logged on" is accomplished via a cookie isn't it? As opposed to the forum server.

After I posted that I remembered that I used to stay logged on to P1 all the time and I'd have to sign back in whenever I cleared the cookies.

I was on the forum about two hours ago and just came back to find myself logged off. Had to go through the user name & password log on again.

Come on o.com. What gives?

I don't think its a cookie clearance issue. When that happens all your cookies get cleared and you have to log in again to all your websites. O.com is the only one I have to repeatedly log back into.

I forgot to sign out yesterday and I was still logged in when I came back just now.

I've been having the same problem myself. Before, the only time I would need to log in is if I cleared out my cookies.

I have the same problem on my IPhone and my desktop. It logs me out at random. It's very irritating.

I've stopped logging off each time I visit and instead I have to log back in every couple of days cuz I get logged out when I'm not online. (desktop)
