Who do I contact to change my username?

I've been a user here for a while, and dont want to make a new account.
My username is my real name (yeah im asian).
I just do not feel comfortable with my real name and was stupid signing up with it.

Can a mod or someone help me out please?

Just make a new account.

Also, realize I assume you're 14 years old or so judging by your username so I'm going easy on you.

You can change your forum username in settings, under My Account > Edit Email and Password. It may be bad etiquette to do so, but it's an available option.

That is obviously a fairly new option from one of the software updates that always screw us up.

for this info, I was thinking of changing my user name from Sanitizer to Antiseptic... (not)

Kind of a shame to respond to this, actually. When you are the most recent commenter the front page reads "Who do I contact to change my sanitizer" which could be going in all sorts of deeply disturbing directions around here.

Oh,and to clarify, I have no idea how hard that would be, especially with it apparently now being automated? From what I've read, this is a very small staff (one?) running the site which is probably already too time-consuming.

Just as a word of caution, if you do this you may lose the ability to login to your account due to how the officer.com website and forums are integrated. This feature hasn't been tested, it was added with the recent upgrade.

In the past we've avoided changing usernames except under special circumstances to prevent issues with logging in.
