Adding information to the postbit

Postbit: The name, avatar, location etc.


Would O.com be willing to take the time to edit the template to incorporate a title or text which states that the poster's profile indicates that they are either Sworn or Non-Sworn (or Civilian)?

I know this can be done by viewing the persons profile; displaying it in-line with the content however would make it much easier to differentiate.

Interesting thought. We have a few changes coming in the near future that I think will make many folks here happy. This is something we'll keep in mind.

Just thought I'd bring this old suggestion back to light, as I still see it a viable way to quickly determine one's LE status (plus it would only take a matter of minutes to implement with no major addons or code changes, just slight additions to the postbit template)

Not at all, this would simply reflect what the forum user answered in the "are you a sworn officer" field on their profile, next to their post. it still wouldn't stop people from lying on that question, though.
