    Emergency Preparedness

    Hi,

I am just wondering what is your take on the relation between a person's mindset, emergency preparedness and their likelihood to survive during a crisis.
I have created a resource on survivor's mindset (I am not going to link to it here out of respect for the guidelines and ongoing spam issues most forums seem to struggle with). It is a comprehensive piece and looks at survival from a psychological standpoint, but I believe that it can always be improved and there is no better place to ask this kind of questions than here.

For those that are curious about it, I placed a similar question on the Corrections forum:
http://www.corrections.com/forums/4/topics/17922 . You don't have to login to view it.

Your consideration is very much appreciated.

If you ask me, a positive mindset is key to making the right and best decisions in life. That is why it is important to always keep the mind 'in shape.' Don't you agree?

Deep Survival: Who Lives, Who Dies, and Why by Laurence Gonzales is a good resource.
