Has anyone heard about security companies hiring police officers to secure certain areas that are damaged from the hurricane?

There are a lot of companies hiring private security for the affected areas, but generally, not in Law Enforcement capacity. If you can work a private gig while on vacation (depending on department regs) Blackwater is hiring for $400 a day. Vance Security is also hiring for $350 a day and All Saints Ltd. is paying $250-300 a day. They all have websites.Jerry
