What's your thoughts, on forced evacuations from NO starting today, military says they will not do it!! Some LEO'S don't want to.

Honestly, I can't see it happening to ALL those people left behind. Some of those people they had on the news were in dry homes. No utilities but still a complete structure none the less. Those in flooded homes, have to go. I don't think that 'by force' is the answer and won't happen. If they don't want to go, have them sign a document to such and take their picture for the record. They are on their own. Common sense may kick in before they die.

Here is another good example of the broken leadership in that state. Mayor orders forced evacuations and goes on the news to say such. Governor says not so fast, I have to approve of it. I can assure you that the cops and military want nothing to do with yanking a old lady out of her home.

Why should they be forced to leave their own property to be abandoned to thieves and looters? Its not like the GUBment is able or ready to protect it.

I am wondering how that insurance claim would work:

"Why did you abandon your property when there was no safety issue to staying in your home?

THE MAN showed up and carried me out in handcuffs after he Tased me".

I know things don't work that way, but I would be hard pressed to forcibly remove someone who was in good health, had adequate provisions and was within the safety of their own DEFENDED home. I don't think I could do it.
