Are there any Indiana State Police officer on officer.com?

I have a few question regarding your dutys. Im takeing a hard look at the State Police but here in NW Indiana (District 11) All they work is traffic. Do ISP officers do other then traffic in the more southern parts of the state? (eg. Domestics ect)

I am from District 22. Although I am not a State Trooper, I can tell you they do more than traffic stops in our area. They respond to the same complaints as we do. If they get there first they handle the complaint if we arrive first then we handle it.

You are correct about Dist 11, plus the Toll Rd as well.

Traffic is/will typically be the primary function of the ISP, although some of the southern districts do have more local involvement in assisting smaller agencies/town marshals, but primarily traffic no matter where you go in IN.
