We have a neighbor of ours that is VERY into guns. He must have thousands of dollars worth of guns. This is the idiot that pulled small gun out of his pocket and pointed it at a stop sign, holding it sideways, of course (It was supposed to impress us...none of us were)and said, "Bet I can hit that stop sign (a block away). My husband pulled his arm down and told him to quit acting like an idiot. I was really ****ed.
Anyway, when he comes home from the target range, he will unfailingly come over with the target paper, and those of his 2 boys, to show us how good they did. To be honest, we couldn't care less.
All he talks about is guns, guns and more guns. This is a guy that washed out of the Police Academy because "they didn't know anything bout REAL guns". geezzzzzzz
If he comes over with a target sheet one more time, I'm going to SCREAM!
My husband told him he better be careful around me cause I WILL report him if I see him using a gun like that again. There were kids playing, adults were out. I told him what he did, pulling this gun and pointing it sideways, like you see in movies, is how people get killed.

Yikes. When he shows you the target does he hold it in front of him? If so, maybe putting a couple rounds of your own thru the X-ring would solve the problem .

Just kidding. I feel for you. I would hate to have a neighbor like that. I don't know what good it would do, but I would probably report him to the police (at least in NC there is a sort of "brandishing" law that might apply, I dunno).

i am a BIG fan of guns.....
i own ONE, met a gun nut on some BLM land, him and his son (16years old) were there, shooting shotguns and 308's. well, homer and his son....both drinking beer (BOTH) and messing w/ guns.

some people are stupid.

Mitzi, dont have any real advice for you other than to say that sometimes silence speaks louder than words..Fail to show interest with your neighbor & he will move on to the next neighbor Im sure..
