  • Laci Peterson found

The bodies of a woman and a baby boy were those of Laci Peterson and her baby. She was pregnant when disappeared Dec. 24 after her husband said she went for a walk with the dog. The dog was found but not Laci. The bodies were found a mile from where Scott Peterson went fishing. The SOB has finally been arrested.

I've had fox news on all day...I heard Scott got arrested, but I hadn't heard that they actually confirmed the identities of the bodies through DNA yet.

I hope they have actually grabbed him; he'll run for sure, given enough time.

I almost started thinking he COULDNT have done it, because of all the crap he was doing that made himself look so guilty! I guess i didnt want to believe it. to me there are SO many options in any unhappy situation besides KILLING. i have no understanding for him. to me, he's worse than a mob killer.

I'm waiting for them to decide whether the little body found was that of a "fetus" or a "baby". Seem comical to me since the little body is the same dead little body either way. I mean does it make the murderer less of a murderer if he murdered the mother first, then somehow the dead "fetus" was removed? (Having died in it's mother's womb.) Or is he more of a murderer if he somehow forced the delivery (Ugh!) then killed both the child and it's mother? Of course I understand that we must humor the legal community in this. If the murderer chose option A, then he only gets tried for one murder (no capital punishment possible). If he chose option B, then he gets tried for 2 murders (and capital punishment is an option). Either way, my math tells me that 2 dead bodies were found and the deaths of both lay at the hands of the same murderer.

Yeah, maybe I'll get flamed for this, but why is this national news? This stuff happens every day in every state, so why is the Peterson case so much more important?

One word- the MEDIA. They needed a "human interest" story, and this incident happened to be the one they made into national news. The local papers up in my area are covering two similiar crimes at the moment, but they don't seem to have the right spin, because they are still local news.

Maybe because of the way the Joker could stand up in the room full of volunteers and shed crocidile tears; maybe his tearful TY pleas. Could be he's a guy who is sorry he got caught, not sorry he did the crime.

I'd promise him anything, get his confession, then hang that summbit'h.

Uhhh, Maybe he cried and acted the way he did because he might, just might be innoccent. However, seriously I doubt it, a homicide suspect isn't usually arrested unless there is ample evidence to prosecute, unless of course you are O.J. and being framed.

Since I have no idea what evidence they have against him, it's difficult other than a gut feling to proclaim him guilty.

Well, Mike... you have to admit it is somewhat of a double standard.

I mean that its legal to kill an unborn baby with sissors and suck its brains out with a vacuum tube, yet this guy is being charged with murdering an unborn baby ? Millions of babies get aborted each year for no other reason than the sake of convience and it is BIG money.

I'd be willing to bet that the second charge gets thrown out. We cant have all those baby killing "doctors" getting upset can we ? We also cant have the feminazis and liberazis making a major case of it. To do so would but the whole issue of abortion on the front pages. Most people know that its wrong, but when you start questioning the morals of those that have slim to none, then the fit will the shan.

Yep, just for the sake of "keeping the peace" so to speak,I figure the murder of the unborn will be quietly swept under the rug, soon you will hear no more about it.

Of course,I could be wrong. In this case,it might not be a bad thing.

The replys to this ought to be interesting.

I pretty much agree with you, and I think, for whatever that's worth that it is murder, and should be treated as such. I realize the killer can only be punished once, but that is my opinion. Any person that would kill a woman and her unborn child certainly deserve to die many times. If only it were possible. Since it's not, torture would be the next best thing.
