  • Need a personal trainer? Go to jail

FAT killers and robbers are getting free personal trainers in jail — to prevent bullying.

Prison bosses say lardy lags suffer “social exclusion” because they cannot exercise with other inmates in the yard.

Dozens of health trainers have been recruited at 25 of Britain’s toughest jails — costing taxpayers an estimated £400,000.

Critics last night blasted the project as “ludicrous”.

Tory MP Andrew Rosindell asked: “Why are these people getting personal trainers? If they want to lose weight, give them vegetables instead of pies.”
