  • Misconduct at Police Week

I don't know if this has been discussed yet...but read the report and watch the video. Please be respectful at this event, things like this make us all look bad.

They brought that up earlier tonight....about being on your best behavior.....but knowing that the FOP area was at 2nd and H.....I am sure folks were loud as they left the area at 2AM......

Some people want the dynamic lifestyle of living downtown while at the same time feeling like they live on a cul de sac when "downtown" gets too "downtown" for them. Must be May sweeps. That shouldn't have even been local news unless the drunks were on-duty or in uniform.

How does she know the drunks were cops? How many other people complained? This sounds like a lady who has nothing better to do than get her little camera out and stir things up. I'll bet their central dispatch gets calls from this weirdo all the time.

Yep. I used to live around D.C. and spent a considerable amount of time there. Uptight snobs.

I person called repeatedly??? I see no other calls mentioned.

Sounds like she's the one with a problem, and she should be ashamed of herself.

Always under the microscope. This never would have been reported if there wasn't an effort to recognize positive things LE do. It's the media's feeling that they have to "balance" the news (ie: show a cop or two looking like ****, to offset the vast majority). They never miss an opportunity to sell a little more soap to those who hate cops!

Sounds to me like a 'crazy lady' who had problems with police before this ever happened.

                        MSNBC There they go again

Watched the report of some Police misgivings. Suddenly I remembered, hey, this is MSNBC alway "first responders" as was in the Duke Lacrosse rape case that never happened in Durham, NC. They were "first responders" even before the local police even knew what was happening. And Now we have an attack on ALL police in DC that week celebrating LE week. Give me a break, who else but MSNBC could do a better job of creating a climate of mistrust, abuse and over age "drinking" lol*

It must be a slow news day if this is major news.

Since when did this type of call become a P1? I don't imagine it was the only street corner in DC that had activity going on at that time.

I'm not overly concerned about the response. A car arrived and drove by, if they didn't see anything there's not really a whole lot they can do. Looks to me like they made an effort and in the very least it was a visual deterrence.

I'm with the concensus here that it was the individual calling. Of course if they had of approached it with several cars and what not, there would be another article about how the police abused their powers.

                            Take your pick.

                              Well, I watched the video.
I did not see any police officers...

I saw some folks drinking some kind of beverage on a sidewalk....
