I took an Oath to support and defend the Constitution, not the politicians. If your trying to violate and circumvent the constitution, you will not get my support. Yes, that mean's the socialist loving corrupt democrats.

        You could say that...

I'm assuming that you're referring to the same Democrats that took up arms and went to war against the United States in their failed attempt to preserve slavery, assassinated President Lincoln, founded the KKK, fought against the 13th Amendment (banning slavery), the 14th Amendment (recognizing black Americans as citizens), the 15th Amendment (giving black Americans the right to vote), and the 19th Amendment (giving women the right to vote), setting a record by filibustering against the Civil Rights Act, and so on...

If the north was so benevolent, then why didn't they free all the slaves in all the states? There was a little more to that war than what was taught in the average K -12 schools.

But I understand what your saying about the Democrats.

I don't see anything in that article that says that Jesus wants Christians to get violent if impeachment happens...

Ok, I added that to make a point about how some evangelicals are framing the possibility of Civil War II as a religious war with support for their side from the Almighty. But the article was clear about one thing: predicting violence.

Rick Wiles senior pastor at Flowing Streams Church in Vero Beach, Florida, who is also the founder of TruNews, warned on his platform recently that if Trump is removed from office, his supporters who “know how to fight” will violently hunt down those who backed impeachment and removal.

“If they take him out, there is going to be violence in America,” Wiles said. “There are people in this country — veterans, cowboys, mountain men, guys that know how to fight — and they’re going to make a decision that the people that did this to Donald Trump are not going to get away with it and they’re going to hunt them down … If these people in Washington think that they are going to get away with it, it’s not going to happen. The Trump supporters are going to hunt them down. It’s going to happen and this country is going to be plunged into darkness and they brought it upon themselves because they won’t back off.”

Talking mad sh*t about Washington is a thing. It’s a common thing that both sides engage in. If you are talking sh*t then maybe, hopefully you are also trying to be engaged in the political process.

That pastor seems to whole heartedly not understand the ground work the Constitution lays out. He moved beyond having a legitimate grievance with how one half of one branch of the Federal Government is running their house and into the realm of advocating the violent overthrow of the US Government. That’s unacceptable. If you feel the Democrats are violating their oaths and have been domestic enemies then you must also include this guy (except he never took an oath of office).

I don't disagree with a lot of what was written in those articles. My personal opinion is economic factors would be more of a driving force than political disagreements to result in a civil war. Cost of living becomes too high, and you'll get a lot of ticked off people who would probably be willing to engage in destructive activities.

                  Explain your statement.

What, in your opinion, defines "too high"?

What/who/why are you thinking that "people" would be "ticked off"?

I'll clarify, I should have specified more. In the event that the economic state of the United States gets to the point where people can no longer afford basic needs (food, shelter, water) there will undoubtably be civil unrest, and the currency is no longer worth anything. I say this based on what is observable in countries like Venezuela. There was an article that came out not long ago that pointed out currency in a video game (i think it was WOW) was worth more than the Venezuelan currency. The USA currently has a 22 trillion dollar, and unfunded liabilities are around 120 trillion+. I don't think I'm alone in thinking that the debts will never be paid back. How the public will handle a message like that, I'm not certain, but I don't think it will be good when theres 300+ million guns in the United States.

Civil wars are generally predicated by economic strife (or the threat of economic strife, as was the case in the US Civil war). It's a rare occurrence for civil war to break out when people are economically-comfortable.
