  • Scotland man charged after repeatedly passing gas during strip search

“ABERDEEN, Scotland — A man in northeast Scotland has been ordered to perform 75 hours of community service after repeatedly and intentionally passing gas while cops conducted a body cavity search.

The Evening Express reports officers responding to a call about a car crash searched Stuart Cook’s person and vehicle after smelling marijuana. Marijuana possession is illegal in Scotland and is punishable by fine or prison time.

Officers handcuffed Cook, who immediately began to scream and act aggressively, The Evening Express reports. He was brought to the police station where he was booked and strip-searched, during which, officers say, Cook passed wind intentionally multiple times.

"Cook... deliberately farted in the direction of the officer three times, stating, 'How do you like that?'" said prosecutor Lucy Simpson, according to the report.

Cook’s defense attorney told the court Cook felt police overreacted in handcuffing and searching him and that’s why he “acted in the manner libeled.” Cook pled guilty to possession of cannabis and to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.”

Is making bad wind really considered aggressive behavior? Seems like a slippery slope down the large and small intestines to me...

Either way, that case passes the smell test.....................
It is better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

I assume it was an assault charge?
