Long long story really short:
I went in to the police department today to turn in some paperwork for my background, I was trying to do a ride-along with this department to compare it to another one I have already been interning with, and I walked out of the department 30 minutes later, signed up for the hiring assembly they are having tomorrow. I just finished school last week, and was planning on having a good month or two to do some hardcore working out, and running, but now I won't have the chance. I have to do the physical ability tests tomorrow, which shouldn't be a problem.
Now it's finally setting it that this is real, and is happening soon. It's very exciting.
