Looking for archival photos

Hi,

I'm helping a professor in NYC with some work she is doing on 70's porn culture and it's impact on society.Back then,I worked on the old 8mm and 16mm peepshow machines and I'm looking for any pictures from porn raids where these machines were confiscated.I know in my town this would've been around 1978 to about '82.

What's surprising is that there doesn't seem to be any pictures around of the old film based machines,there are pics of the new video based and old Scopitone film juke box machines from the '60's as well as Victorian Era Kinetiscopes (Thomas Edison era),but nothing from the 1970's era when the mob ran the porn business.

Any suggestions or help you can offer would be appreciated.I'm sure we've got to have some vice guys on this forum that worked that beat then,or maybe some archivists.

I've tried all the search engines and like I say,I have yet to come up with pictures of the actual machines.

These things were raided everywhere,so I think there has to be some pics somewhere around.

After doing some more searches,I did manage to come up with a few pics of similar machines,even a 3D machine from the 60's.What I would like to find are pictures taken from porn raids in the 70's and 80's.No one here worked vice then?There was big investigation in Florida on porn at the time and it's mob influence,anyone here that was involved in MIPORN?

You can find pics of old moonshine stills,gambling tables and meth labs all over the web,but 70's era peepshow machines are difficult to come by for some reason.
