whats police week? -
It's Actually Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial Week. It occurs every year in Washington DC, the week of May 15. Basically it is a week of memorial services for those that have fallen in the year before. There are also some rather intense blowing off steam sessions after hours at the tents they have set up. I believe the average number of attendees is usually 15,000 cops from all over the US, with a few from Canada and the UK. Thisd year, I wouldn't be surprised to see 25,000, because of 9/11.Comment
