  • Thoughts and Prayers for Katey

I got a call from Katey last night when she was on the way to the ER last night, complaining of lower abdominal pain...

She calls me again this am on my way to work, they kept her overnight and will be having surgery today, she has a really bad kidney stone.

I have the phone and room number if anyone wants it to wish her to get well fast.

    Thanks,
    Michele

ooh bummer!! i've had kidney stones in the past and believe me, they are PAINFUL!! the first time i had them i spent about 3 days in the hospital. the second time i just went to the emergency room and they gave me some tylenol w/codeine and just told me to wait till they pass. NO FUN!!

my friend's wife was just in the hospital about a month ago with them as well. she was miserable.

get well soon katey. if you need someone to empathise and sympathize with ya i'm here, since i can relate first hand.
    I'll post, You argue.

Gee, and I had a cyst removed from over my left eye this morning.....if I would have known, maybe Katey and I could have had our surgeries together. Then maybe they'd put us in the same room....then maybe......guess I better stop. No fun without Katey being here. [Frown]

Never had a kidney stone but a friend said you definitely don't want one. Tell her I said to rest up & get well. I'll be thinking of her & offering a prayer for a successful outcome.

On the phone w/Katey. She's in good spirits (probably all drugged up). Surgery is at noon. She thanks everyone for their thoughts and Steve, Katey said "heal her". I will let you know how she is later on.

Thanks for the heads up, Piper (Michele )

That may explain the back pain she's been having, too.

Kidney stones are, I've heard, that closest thing men can experience to childbirth.

                          OUCH!!!!!!!!

                          Get well quick Kaytey!!!!!!!!
