Dang WOMAN! Took a U-turn right in front of us. My H just barely missed her. I just held on a closed my eyes as we screeeeeeeeeeched and slid. We all had our seat belts on or it could have been really bad. Our seat belts held us tight, thank God. We ended up almost sideways in the road, so scared as she went on her merry little way. I heard screeches behind us but than GOD no one hit anyone. And where was she going? To a liquor store. My H called 911 and luckily, a unit was close. She had gotten in her car and they stopped her...can you say DUI???????
It scared the bejeebies out of me and led me to have a bit of understanding to how a family can be so devastated over losing a loved one to DUI. We were lucky...this time.

lol We pulled into the liquor store parking lot and my H was on the phone with the police. I got out of the car because, when we slid, my diet coke went all over me. I screamed RAT BASTARD &&##&^$^%. My H was then waiting for the police when he said, "WHAT did you just say?" I said, "Insane made me say it". He said, "WHO?" I said, "This insane woman in the LEO forum. That's what she always says." He just rolled his eyes. It's in the 40's here and I had to get back in the car, covered with diet coke.

Yep. we will have a freeze of 31 degreees tonight....But remember, I am in far Northeast Fla. We have a lovely fire going, I'm siting with a cup of sugar free hot cocoa and enjoying life!
