We just left Cingular for Nextel. Cingular's the Mac Daddy around here. Nextel will work fine and all of a sudden you just lose the signal. We've got a pair of Motorola i1000 plus which is a decent phone, but just a little bulky.
When we had Cingular, I had the Nokia 5165 (that's what my work phone is, too) and my wife had the little baby Nokia. I didn't want to get rid of Nokia because of the car kit. It's because of that one item that I would suggest the Nokia over anything else.
It was a trade off with the switch, but I'm happy with Nextel. I just need to sit down and learn how to operate the damn phone...it comes with a HUGE instruction manual. I'm probably only using 20% of its capabilities.
