Ameritech is worthless

We had a storm a few days ago and my phone went dead. None of the jacks work, so the problem must be at the pole. I called Ameritech on Tuesday morning and they said they would be out on THURSDAY-which is today but I have had no phone, and no internet for three days now. They also said they would show up between 8am and 7pm. What the hell is that? Anyway, that's why you all don't hear from me all day. I have to wait until I go into work at 5am to be able to get online. They are worthless.

I deal with them on a daily basis getting lines tested for DSL and you are absolutely right. They have never gotten one of our lines up without some sort of problem and they will never admit it is their problem. Where I live Sprint is the local telco and they really suck. It takes three weeks on average just to get a phone line installed.

I guess all of the telcos are pretty much worthless.

LOL Katey. Ya know, I wasn't going to admit that but I guess you're right. They finally fixed my phone Friday afternoon and I feel so much better. Withdrawl sucks
