Speaking of coffee mugs...

OK, we've talked our favorite mugs, but how about the stuff we put in them?

I don't drink much coffee, so most of the time I have a cold soda in mine.

When I do drink coffee, I like 7-11's Dark Mountain Roast, Dunkin' Donuts Hazelnut and about anything frome Barnie's.

At home and school, Folger's French Vanilla. On duty....ANYthing that's HOT....

Straight coffee, black and HOT. At work, drink it from 7am to noon. If riding with sheriff's dept., drink it late at night.

At home, I'm a coffee snob, grind my own beans. Millstone Colombian is my favorite. I drink two cups before I go in.

I sometimes drink another cup at work. Wawa's, regular strength. Makes me feel wired if I drink too much.

Caffeine-free Diet Coke for a cold drink.

At this time of year Bushmills, with a splash of eggnog, suits my taste after work.

Coffee, preferably Folgers, hot and black and 24/7. Never stopped me from sleeping any time the opportunity presented itself!

I had a friend/fellow deputy who worked the next post over from mine. This guy is a real "character" and was truly an "old time" copper. We met for coffee and/or meals quite often.

One day when we had ordered coffee, he asked the waiter for some cream. (He always just LOADED his coffee with cream and sugar.) The waiter asked if I wanted some as well. I just looked at him with a straight face and said "no thanks, REAL COPS drink their coffee straight."

From that day on, anytime this deputy and I had coffee together he wouldn't put ANYTHING in his coffee.

Coffee, black, the darker the better

We grind our own beans at the office, usually "Millstone" brand, but occassionally we buy beans from a local coffee shop. The local coffee shop also makes fantastic coffee, the only problem is that they are only open 0700 to 1600

At home, I use freshly ground coffee beans. I usually have French vanilla coffee w/French vanilla creamer. On my way to work, I stop at Wawa and get Irish creme coffee with Irish creme creamer. At work, it's whatever is in the coffee pot - regular or decafe. Both are always fresh so I don't mind. Just cream, no sugar.

When I've had enough coffee, it's caffeine-free Diet Coke or just water.

Starbucks, one of the "bold" blends; no sugar, no cream. But I'll admit to the odd cafe latte as long as the milk is VERY hot.

I have tried coffee in alot of places, even in Colombia, and everywhere I have ever tried it I hated it! I just cant stand the crap!

Now heres my confession, I love cappucino, and not real cappucino like in Starbucks or coffee houses, I mean the cheap stuff you get out of the machine at a 7/11. Kind of like cocoa with a kick! And if you add one of those little cups of irish creme creamer to a french vanilla cappucino it is awesome!!
