Just a historical note about a tradition that was started by families back during World War II. During the holidays was to display a gold star in the window, for each member of their family that was lost during the war. (From the History Channel).

Those stars are making a comeback. They are being sold by the American Legion, and they signify that the family displaying that star has a son or daughter SERVING overseas in a combat situation.
There is something different to show that someone from the family died in service, but I can't remember what that was.Never make a drummer mad- we beat things for a living!
