  • How about those Steelers!!!

    Any Steelers fans out there????/
I was most impressed by the team last night. I have been a Steeler fan since I was old enough to wave a terrible Towel and listen to Myron Cope on KDKA radio.
    Boo! Scared ya did'nt I

THAT WAS AN AWESOME GAME, I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW WELL KORDELL IS PLAYING. IF WE CAN WIN THESE BIG GAMES WITHOUT THE BUS, SOMEBODY BETTER WATCH OUT. GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!

        as mr. rogers would state:
can you say "choke in the playoffs??" i knew you could.

as long as kordell is the QB, their chances are limited. last night was his first decent game in what, about 2-1/2 seasons???

i don't see any really dominant team in the AFC, but i don't see the steelers as THE team either.
        I'll post, You argue.

I have to hand it to the Steelers and Kordell. They did an excellent job even without the help of The Bus.

That's my AFC pick this year. I have always been a loyal fan of the Steelers.

Now NFC is a differnt story. Sorry guys but I'm a huge fan of Nawlins Saints.

The picks I made a couple of weeks ago on this forum are looking better. The steelers were my AFC pick. The Jets are fading like I said. Elvis can't lead the Ravens to victory. Miami is crusing towards another playoff blowout. Denver is out. In the NFC the Rams showed last week that the 49ers aren't there yet (beating the Dolphins doesn't count). The Rams have too much offense for even good defense as long as they don't self destruct like they did last time against New Orleans and Tampa. Neither team beat the Rams so much as the Rams let them win. When a team can turn over the ball 8 times like they did in one game and still almost win that says a lot about just how good that team is even when they play like crap.

So I'm sticking with my Rams / Steelers superbowl and the Rams will dominate.

My husband is beyond happy and has dragged me to all the sports shops to look for an AFC Championship hat and shirt. Finally had to have friends from PA. send one.

Zamboni has it right. The Rams are the team that is going all the way. I feel like the Steelers would be a good opponent in the Super Bowl, but I honestly dont think there is any team that can stop "The Greatest Show On Earth" when Kurt and Co. are on a roll.

                      My prediction...
                      Steelers 375
                      Rams -3
So says the super fan......That Bill Cower reminds me a Ditka.

And to think at the beginning of the season they were 40/1 for winning the Super Bowl. Let's see, come January that $20 will be .....$800
