Where are the cops? Shouldn't they be the ones organizing the protests instead of waiting for Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson to do it for them? So Sharpton and Jackson don't place cops on their priorities list where's the problem? They aren't obliged to.

Awhile back in Cali, a guy busted into a training meeting of off duty cops and started shooting...hence why cops try and keep a low profile when off duty...

Go start your own protest. Oh and that writer is sooooo racist. It really shines through regardless of her race. That's probably why she can't get a job at a prestigious paper.

You could care less that two cops were killed, but expect us all to cry over some stupid protester that got ran over by a dozer due to her own stupidity.

Maybe they can't. A lot of depts(including mine) have "no strike/walkout clauses". Cops are still needed to keep order.
Your right they are not obliged to. But it shows thier true agenda, their double standards and pot stirring. They both preach "civil rights" only when it fits them(just like the ACLU).
And I see nothing wrong with her article. Calling her racist is an insult. She is telling the truth LIKE IT IS, that so many people(and it seems including yourself)ignore.
I see many Afro-Americans call our black and hispanic officers racist.
I too am a person of color. The biggest eye opener as an officer for me was that people of color called me racist. They only see blue.
It has come to a point that a minority only has to say that whatever is being done to them is racsist and the world stops for them.
People are VERY quick is say that when in reality it is not.
And the NYPost is a "prestigious paper". It was one of the best papers to read when I lived in Brooklyn. You want to know why? Cause they tell it like it is.

Even more disturbing is the fact that if a white cop kills a black (or other minority) suspect, there will be marches by civil rights groups, demands by Jesse Jackson/Al Sharpton etc. that it be investigated by the Federal Government as a possible hate crime, and the potential for race-related riots. Of course the news media will cover the event for days if not weeks.

But if a minority suspect kills a white cop, it gets very little news, the attitude that "Well, it's sad, but it's part of a cop's job", and even excuses about the suspect's behavior ("It's because he grew up on welfare to a crack-addicted mother.")

Because the mainstream media will either ignore it, or twist it into some sort of police misbehavior. I once saw a mainstream news article about cops who show support for cops on trial for criminal or civil matters. The article made our support for each other look like yet another "Blue Wall of Silence."

That "racist" didn't make one single racist statement in the entire article. So your assuming, and making yourself look like an *** in the process.

Oh, one more thing, that "racist" is a published author. What have you done that is so great that it allows you to pass judgement on her?
