Wear your seat belts!

My husband is in Virginia today. He was hit from behind by a drunk driver. The car (a rental) was totaled but he and another man we ok because they had their seat belts on. Damn drunk drivers! WEAR YOUR SEAT BELTS!

Hi Mitzi,long time. Seem like bad things are still happening to you. My daughter was recently in an accident and Ford repaired her Mustang. Anyway they fixed it incorrectly with a bad weld causing her axle to break and the tires to fall off. Luckly she had just got off the interstate and on the exit ramp. She was in a terrible accident totaled the car, the air bags didn't work but she had her seat belt on. The car is an unbelievable piece of twisted metal. Thank God, she was shook up but walked away because of the seatbelt. It was a brand new car and she hit the guard rail at 35 miles an mph. They do save lives. Without the belt she may be dead today. This only happened Saturday morning on the way to the college library.

Mitzi, make sure your hubby sees a chiropractor even if he doesn't think he is hurt. After my car accident last May, I was able to walk around and everything without any serious injuries but I went into see a chiropractor because I was having severe headaches. After doing some ex-rays he found that I had whiplash. I had treatment for about 5 months and I thought everything was fine last October. Wellll, my neck has started bothering me so I'm back to see the doctor for neck pain AGAIN. Car accidents are spooky because neck and back injuries may not creep up for awhile or they could go away and then come back. Make sure he gets in there while his case is still open.

He went to the emergency room because his neck pain was worsening. He says it's better now and at least he has it documented if more problems should arise.

I got hit head on at 35mph by my drunk driving neighbor just a few doors down from my driveway. I was wearing my seatbelt and survived , unfortunatly so was my terminal butthole neighbor

He ran form the accident and left me for dead. Parents hired him a lawyer and he beat the DUI rap avoiding violating his parole and going back to prison for two years for another near fatal DUI crash and other convictions.

How awful! I remember one of the worst days of my life was when I plowed into a car from behind...and the witness was a police officer! aarrgghhhh!
