  • Who's got a bit o' the Irish in 'em?

    Happy St. Pat's Day everybody.

I know -- Everyone's Irish on St. Patrick's Day. But who REALLY has some Irish background?

For myself, it's 1/4. My grandmother on my father's side was a Culligan.
Caution and worry never accomplished anything.

i'm not irish EVEN on st. patty's day.

so put down the green beer.

and take off that leprechaun suit, you look ridiculous.

and quit singing "oh danny boy" when you don't even know the damn words.

and if your name is "erin" then i prefer that "erin go bragh-less"!!!!

    I'll post, You argue.

Well, my surname was brought to this country in 1670 by a man on a ship which came from Ireland and supposedly all we with that name are descended from him; however, that does not guarantee that he was, indeed, Irish, does it. I have been accused of being "black Irish" (which, I believe, means Spanish ancestors) and some of my family's anatomical features would support this. The other half of my dad's family is British (Scots/English) all the way. Mom was half German, half Dutch.

1/2 Irish- and if I would have been born 6 and a half hours earlier, my name would have been "Trish" to go with my Irish last name, and being born on St Patty's Day... But alas, tomorrow is my birthday (21!! ) so my parents stuck with what they had already chosen.
