  • And my uncle called this guy's family 'friends'....

Some of you will remember the accident last Spring that claimed the life of my uncle's 'friend', aka 'moocher, conman, confidence man', etc...

Well...we tried to warn my uncle that his family would sue, claiming negligence on behalf of my uncle. He wouldn't listen. Now, this: Lawsuit

Notice...the suit claims my uncle didn't warn this guy about the dropoff, yet the article states the guy had mowed my uncle's yard several times before.

This is one greedy family of vultures.....

Tell him to get the toughest lawyer he can get, shooter. I know from dealing with my sons ex-wife and her family that you have to stand up and stare them down. People like this are basically cowards at heart. When I stared my ex-DIL and her mother down, they would wither everytime. You have to stay one step ahead, think like them and let them know you are not going to take it.

Does your Uncle have any money? If not, they'll probably drop him from the suit. If so, start worrying.

Remember these three little words: Court Is Bad.

Personally, I think it's pretty funny to try to say he didn't know about the bluff and the river when he had mowed the place before "usually on Mondays".

And how come it was so overgrown if he'd been doing his mowing job so well "usually on Mondays"? [Wink]

Did someone witness this accident? How is it that they are so sure about exactly what happened?

Hopefully the judge will just throw the case out.

"a friend of Holland's said the man was constantly looking for ways to make life better for others."

Isn't it funny how everyone's a saint after they're dead (especially when they did something stupid and/or criminal to cause their death).

Sounds like the work of an ambulance chaser!
          quote:
The attorneys claim their client died as a result of the defendants' negligence, wanton conduct, breach of warranty and violation of the Alabama Extended Manufacturers Liability Doctrine.

Only a Herb Tarlic jacket wearing, spray-on hair, used car salesman, large gold pinky ring wearing, top three botton undone so the hair shows, prostituting civil lawyer would talk some poor little old lady into some frivolous lawsuit!! Ok maybe the little old lady is a money hungry blood sucker, but I still don't like lawyers.

Except for any fine lawyers on this forum of coures !!
