Sandie, I didn't know you sing, also! Learn something new every day!

I mostly think of karoke as caterwauling. Good for a few laughs, I guess. However, I have also heard some people who can REALLY sing, so it isn't all that bad. Kind of like "The Gong Show!"

Some night, if I am with a certain friend of mine, and I have two or three shots of whisky in me, I may do "A Boy Named Sue" by Johnny Cash. The folks won't laugh at me as much as they will laugh at my friend laughing! That song always cracks him up.

I dont do it, i cant sing.

altho in my car, my voice is magically transformed into that of a rock star

i've heard really good singers do it and it was great, at one restaurant they really got everyone up and dancing. i cant listen to the awful singers do it, that's why i won't. even if i was drunk...

I don't do the karaoke thing, but my wife does. She drags me to these places and likes to sing "Honey I'm Home" I think it's by Shania Twain. It's funny to see these people sing. Myself, I'd rather deal with a stupid drunk than embarass myself singing.

Never! I thought i might like to try but i have a problem with being the center of attention. I like to blend in and watch other people make an *** out of themselves.
