Dr. Pepper is my poison. I have recently decided to cut out all the caffine and sugar they provide though. I need to get in shape for the physical exam.

I still have my "special" treat though. Drink of the gods, IBC Root Beer! That stuff is tasty!

Alright, I think I'll be the outkast of the thread. Water. Yes, I said it, H2O. Its not the best tasting out there, but its probably the best for you. I have basically cut out all sodas out of my diet and to my suprise, I believe I have even lost 5-10 lbs. due to the cut.

Godside I applause you for cutting out the soda in your diet. I think you can go into flavored water or do they have too much surgar added? I never looked at them to see if they had just a hint of fruit taste or did they add surgar to it as well? Just an idea if it works for you to give you a little added taste. LOL

Most of the "flavored" waters are carbonated. Apparently, carbonation is horrible for you, not to mention all the sugar and all the caffine they load into a 12 oz can. I figure if I want to get into shape... start doing things differently.

Yes I knew that the carbonated water is very bad for you make you dehydrated easier but I did not know that the flavored waters were cabonated I guess I learned something new today. I guess sticking with plain old water is best for you then.

Well, I grew up a loyal Coke fan. Then they came out with that God-awful New Coke crap, and then to Classic Coke which wasn't the same as the original formula, (they changed the type of sugar used) and I made the switch to the sweet nectar called Pepsi.

Alas, dark colas started hurting my stomach so now I drink the jet fuel called Dr. Enuf. Damn good stuff, like 7-up with caffeine! Then if I need a real buzz I'll grab a can of Amp (made by Mountain Dew)(also another form of liquid crack, mentioned earlier) or Sobe's Adrenaline Rush (liquid crystal meth ) Adrenaline Rush wires me so bad I won't have to blink for about 12 hours

tastes kinda like mountain dew only sweeter, with less of a citrus flavor and less carbonation. its pretty potent stuff, kinda like eating instant coffee straight out of the jar.
