Dumb excuses

I've heard some doozies but last nights was one of the dumbest:

We find an abandoned car thats been in a wreck. Dispatch calls the owner (a woman) who tells the dispatcher she loaned the car to her brother in law but its probably his wife driving the car. The woman wasn't sure of the wife's name. I guess there's no sisterly love there.

LOL she does not know the name to her own sister? How pathetic is that. I guess I would be thinking of charging her with being stupid in a no stupid zone. LOL

him: " but sir , I put the windshield in your chiefs truck !"

me: " Sir the reason i stopped you was you were travelling 53 in a 25"

him: "well I know i was speeding but , I guess it doesnt matter that i put his windshield in "

to which i almost laughed
