  • I got arrested once:)

For Charity. My husband had me "arrested" and taken to the mall where I had to wear a prison striped uniform and call all my friends, begging them to come "bail" me out. Only my H had called them first and told them to "bail" me out but to take their time either agreeing to it or going down and making "bail" (Bail was a donation)
It took me half the day to get in touch with people then I look over and see that big buffoon I'm married to and a bunch of friends laughing at me.
He tried to get them to leave me in the "jail" (It was a makeshift one in the Mall)overnight but they refused. lol I chased him to the car!

that is cute Mitzi, they do that charity arrest thing around here too.

but, i once had a not so fun experience lol.

its a very long story, and i definitely learned ALOT. i wont talk bad about the cops cuz i dont really believe in that. but i will say, some will do and say pretty much anything to solve a case. (i'm not saying that's wrong to do..i just mean i was *misled* about some things that were going on)

i was taken in by detectives for questioning regarding a friend of mine. i was not a suspect, nor ever arrested. but i was taken back into the little detective office, with blinds drawn and tape recorder on lol. i definitely feel they played good cop/bad cop, with one raising his voice at me saying things like "you BETTER answer what i just asked you" and the other one coming up alongside me and talking quietly, reminding me i wasnt a suspect, etc. and that i just needed to answer everything as honestly as i could (which i did). i will say i was a little scared; this was about 8 years ago. they also had my ex-husband (PO) on the phone in another room; a question they asked me tipped me off on that.

That would have realy upset me, jellyben. I mean, it would make ne FEEL uilty when I wasn't. The first time the "bad" cop had made me feel bad I would have said, "Interview over. I want a lawyer." If you were willing to cooperate, then there was no reason to TREAT you like a suspet.

Don, it has absolutely nothing to do with the tight short shorts, the spandex top, fishnet stockings and high heels I was wearing when they stopped me. I was just walking down the street one day and that's what I happened to be wearing when they stopped me and said my husband was having me arrested for charity! Just as well, I never even earn a quarter! lol
