WHY???

I just heard they found the body of the little 5 year old girl abducted from her apartment complex where she was playing....75 miles away.
Last week, police found the body here of a prescious little three year old boy. He had ben killed by his mothers boyfriend for soiling his pants, wrapped in a blanket and just left on the side of the road.
More of this stuff will happen.....That's our society. But I just don't know HOW people can do what they can do to defenceless little children.
And I know it must affect all of you very much when it's a child involved. I once watched a thing on TV where a child about 4 was abducted. It just so happened the car was spotted by a cop who had a camera crew with him. He got the car stopped, the man handcuffed and then ran back to the car. The child was fine but had been tied up. It showed this cop untying the child, grabbing her and just crying and crying as he paced up and down the road with her.
I guess it was relief knowing what he had saved this child from. But I also know this cop will carry this with him forever as will this child.
Just thank God he was able to save one prescious baby.

It really bothers me when I hear about little kids like that. That is one of the reason I want to be a Police Officer. I have two little girls myself,one 7 the other 2 and a half. I wouldn't know what I would do if anything ever happened to my girls. I thank God every night that I can tuck them into bed at night. It means that they are safe. I know it may be uncostitutional,but if you injure a child by molestation or rape it should be an automatic death sentence!!!! One thing that I'm not looking forward to as an Officer is finding an injured or abused child. I'm sure you all don't enjoy those calls either.

I think it says an awful lot about the professionalism of cops that they are able to arrest and take to jail a child abuser or child killer. I think I'd be I jail if I saw a person hurting a child.

Yes that is one of the hardest things to do. I know that when you go to a house and see that a child has been hurt it takes a lot not to just beat the heck out of the parent(s) who were responsible for those injuries. Wanting to find a lost/abducted child is something that is on your mind as most of us have or had kids of our own and we would not want something like that to happen to our kids.

Why are penalties so low for child molestation, let alone murder? It is well known that molesters will molest again. If not death they should at minimum receive life sentences.

Here's an idea "eye for an eye". How bout a butt for a butt. What ever someone does to a child they get it done back to them!!! Then we can kill them.

This kind of thing makes me so mad! That little girl wasn't hurting anything or anybody. If people just have this urge to kill, why don't they kill the pieces of dirt criminals and at least help the world out a little. And here's another thing that gets me... If they just have to have sex so bad, there are plenty of "street people" that will either sell it cheap or give it away. Why harm an innocent child. Life sucks sometimes. You know what I thought about, her grandmother was babysitting her while her parents were gone to work. How bad must that grandmother feel knowing she was responsible for the child. I bet they are going to have some serious family problems after this all settles. It's just a bad situation all together. I have a solution to child molestors and rapists, cut their "raper tool" off and they won't do it again!

I keep thinking about this litle girl's parents. I mean, she was just outside playing. I came close to losing my child. I don't know if I could survive losing one this way, knowing what she suffered. It was hard enough emotionally just with my sons illness.
I really do think that if I had lost him this way, there would have ben another victim....me.

Shorty, they only want children, they're sick. it's not just a sex thing, just like rape isnt. it's the control, and the ultimate *thrill* of being able to take the life.

this story really is upsetting to me also, Mitzi. she was so close to where she lived, broad daylight, and her friend watched her struggle.

usually the body is not found so soon, it seems like. they said he didnt try to hide a thing, and left tons of forensic evidence. and they can also tell what a struggle she put up, and that he spent hours with her. one of those things that's so hard to put out of your mind.

I am afraid it has little to do with the tool. Its a mind set and there are other ways to molest without the tool.

I hope, when they catch him , and they WILL, he looks like someone beat the s*it outta him. The things you have to do when they run from you, I'm sure. I know I'd have a hard time not beating the s*it out of him.

Total agreement. Then, leave the body hanging, and let those hardy souls who want to use it for target practice.
