I'm not sure if anyone knows anything about this, but if the name Richard Marc Evonitz rings a bell, or even if it doesn't, you need to read this.
There are three unsolved murders in the area I live in, and the main suspect is Evonitz. Last month, he shot and killed himself in Florida after the police surrounded him.
The FBI has figured out that he was living here in the area from 1995-1997, during the years that the three murders happened. He then moved, and abducted another girl in South Carolina last month. She escaped and gave out the info about Evonitz.
Now here's where you come in: the story was on America's Most Wanted tonight (for the 7th time in 5 years), and the FBI is now looking for people who have information on the whereabouts of Evonitz for the past 10 years. They are trying to track his movements to see if he was maybe involved in other murders.
This is a big deal: all three of the murder victims were teenage girls, ages 16, 15 and 12 and two of them were sisters. Luckily this creep is no longer a threat, but we all really need any info anyone can provide. This is a case that really hits close to home. I was 13 when the murders happened, so I truly believe I was luckily not to be targeted.
If you have any info on where Evonitz has been, call 1-800-CRIMETV for AMW, or your local police.
Here is a link to all of the articles on the murders dating back to 1996. Please just take a look at them.
