"I worked on a patrol shift with a sergeant from North Carolina, deputies from Oklahoma, Alabama and Boston, and a dispatcher from Brooklyn. Sometimes you needed subtitles"

That was so you could understand the ones from Brooklyn and Boston, right?

Glad I don't have an accent for people to have to sort through

Yup, I love listening to Click and Clack, when I can. If only because they are such goobers! Unfortunately I can only listen to them when no one else is in the car (since I almost never listen to the stereo at home).
Of course the accent is nothing new, my wife is from Taxachusetts.

    AT,

My accent is strong, but not like Boston or NYC. Ask Piper, she knows what I sound like. But OMG, I love the New England and NYC accent. Like music to my ears...

I find Kaaa Taawk a bit like driving by an accident. You know you shouldn't, but you're unable to look away...

Though I can't pick on the accent. If I relaxed, I'd probably slip into something pretty close.

Does anyone else listen to these nuts?

I first heard them a few months back on NPR while working (the older I get, the more I listen to NPR and not mainstream radio-I can only take so many screaming car salesmen and the speaker-pounding noise that replaced music.)

I HATED them! The very sound of their voices irritated me. If I just wanted to listen to that kind of accent, I could just call Kate .

Anyway...I caught them a few Saturdays ago and must have been in a better mood (I was off )and I laughed the whole time! I have become "addicted" to them, and LOOK FORWARD to them now on Saturday's and Sundays.

They are HEARTLESS to some of the callers...but it's kind of funny.
