I once witnessed an accident that left three people, one a male teenager, with injuries but they were not life threatening. I stayed with one of them until the medics got there. About that time, a black woman came up, with a white woman, and asked me if I had a pencil and a piece of scrap paper. I asked them why they wanted it and the white woman said, "We want to call the boys parents before "The Man" gets to him." Well, I'm pretty naive and I said, "What man?". And the black woman said, in exasperation, "THE POLICE".
I said, "You know, that doesn't make sense to me. The police are helping him right now." The white woman said, "That's only because there are witnesses." Then they walked away. I was dumfounded.

Maybe one day the two women will be the ones laying there needing an officers help, and when the cruiser pulls up he might accidentally run them over and say sorry ladies I didn't see you laying there. I'm THE MAN, who are you and why are you laying in my street? WHAT...sorry got a little carried away...um, yeah that is weird mitzi.
