I got a toe ring while on vacation! My son says I am too old but what does he know. My husband nixed the ankle tatoo! DRATS! I'll justnhave to get one when he's not with me!

I agree with WW. Toe rings are sexy! I love mine. I was never a big fan of wearing open toed shoes, but lately I've been wearing them. Thank God for pedicures!

As for the tat, if you want it, go for it. The ankle is where I want to get mine, but I've been chicken for so long. After deciding where to put it, I just haven't mustered up enough courage to actually go through with it. I'm working on it though.

Having recently hit the BIG '4 0', I find myself taking more 'risks' and 'chances', in a vain(?) attempt to add some excitement to my BORING 'day-to-day' routine.

I think perhaps I'll go stake out the local swimming pool. 'Have binoculars...will travel'.

Katey, i make my tattoo appt next Friday! cant wait! you should come down to Montana's in Malaga NJ, my friend has 4 from there and they're beautiful. once i turned 40 i went for the toe ring, anklets and ankle bracelet, and now the tattoo... who cares how old we are! i sure dont. c'mon midlife crisis!
