Now I like Greek food, but I remember some rice thing wrapped in some leaf. BLECH...

Same as 10MMike...Something in a grape leaf. But I don't like sushi either.
One time, I went to a card club where our hostess was raving about the "beer" meatballs she was well known for, she said. It was one of those things that you put one in your mouth and stop.....and wonder how you can finish it.
Whenever it was her turn to host card club, this one lady would crack us up. She'd send someone in the kitchen to talk to the hostess, then she'd run over to the food table, get as many of the meatballs as possible in a ziplock bag, seal it, put it in another bag and get it in her purse so she would think we were eating them because we didn't want to hurt her feelings. In the past, if she saw them not being eaten, she'd say, "Oh, don't let these go to waste." and she'd pile some on our plates. Only problem was that, after this, she'd make TWO batches, thinking we all like them so much. lol!
And they lady that would "steal" them said, "Even my dog won't eat them and he eats anything!" lol

I've gotta second the Sushi, BARF, and I love fish.
Only tried the sushi once, never again.

But...I've never tried grasshoppers, slugs and other yummies out there, maybe sushi might not be so bad?

Oh no.. a rather bad incident with wasabi comes to mind.. first time eating ata sushi bar and I order a wrap type thing that supposedly has avocado in it. I receive it and take a BIG bite out of what I THOUGHT was avocado.. which was really wasabi!

Needless to say, I haven't been back to a sushi bar since.

not all SUSHI is raw fish shooter, some of it is very good. i would have to vote for Aribic food, not only does it smell like crap, but it tasts like it.

Sorry, Lebanese food has my vote as the worst smelling food! That was eleven years ago and I can't even be near it.

Tragically, Icouldn't get past the smell enough to even try it!

Another thing that is hard for me to stomach is anything that is Curried !

Never had "Arabic" food, but if Syrian cousine falls into that catagory, along with Moroccan, I can most certainly tell you that you merely had a bad experiance...
