Police in Baltimore have reportedly found a man who has been shot in a white astro van. He was found, according to www.msnbc.com ,inside the van with manuals detailing sniper activities and a rifle. They are saying he works for a comminication company and that he has a sales route in the sniping area.

Also the say he was found with a tarot card that said "Jihad in America".

He reportedly has been shot with a handgun, and has military sniper training. They say he is still alive, and was shot by his wife.

This was reported on cable tv, and may not be on the website yet.

I also saw Larry Pratt fighting the liberals over more gun control on the abrams report.

"MONTGOMERY COUNTY POLICE discounted any link between the sniper shootings and a case in Baltimore in which a former Marine was shot over the weekend in a domestic dispute. Members of the task force investigating the sniper attacks went to Baltimore to examine a white van that was seized in the case. Citing police sources, WBAL-TV reported that police also found an A-R 15 rifle, shell casings, ammunition and a book about snipers in his apartment.

Well, this guy has an AR-15, manuals on snipers, a white van, a tarot card, writing that says "jihad in America", he works in the area where the killings have happened, has an intimate knowledge of the area, he was shot over the weekend, and there were no killings today, or over the weekend.

Nah, can't be him!

I think it's a good possibility it's him, and the authorities are just playing it safe. I can also understand how it could not be him. Also, I find it strange that there has been no mention of the race of this guy, what with all the profiling that has been done

Another shooting in Fairfax Co., a woman shot in the parking lot outside a Home Depot. If that dead guy was the guy, then he's got a partner still alive.

as far as i know, the man had never been seen; until tonite, when someone said he had a blue shirt on. i still didnt hear his race mentioned. i suppose they could have guessed at it but without anyone seeing i dont know how that would help.

Sadly, this is no longer the case. A woman was shot in the head at a Home Depot in either Falls Church or Fairfax, VA just a few hours ago (if that long).

Less then two hours ago ... 9:20 pm or so. I got off work, turned on the radio, and "police have shut down Rt. 50 after another sniper shooting ..." (this was about 10:20p I left work.)

I don't think this is the first evening shooting -- IIRC, the one gentleman shot last week at the VA gas station also happened either in the evening or after dark.

According to the Associated Press, 'Another deadly shooting in suburban Washington, D.C., and police say it may be related to the sniper case that has people in the area terrorized.

Police say the shooting occurred in Fairfax County, Va. Roads are being closed in the area.'

JellyBean, the suspect that was found shot did not die. He was treated at the hospital, but did not die. The article did not say if he was treated and released or what, so... it is very possible that he is the one. JMO
