Elem. school knife attack

On Monday May 7, 33 yr. old Jason Pritchard entered the playground area of Mountain View Elementary School. While the children were outside, he atacked on boy with a knife. As students ran into the school, he followed, attacking three more students in a classroom where children were hiding with a teacher.
Anchorage Police shot the suspect three times with rubber bullets and took him into custody inside the school. Pritchard has a criminal history dating back to 1994 involving criminal trespass, dui, and one count of assault. Pritchard has used the Anchorage mental health counseling center as a mailing address.
The four injured boys were hospitalized and are in serious condition following surgery for knife wounds to the neck.

The guy's lucky he committed this atrocity in Alaska. We don't HAVE rubber bullets or bean bag rounds in my department.

I think I went to that school in 1st grade when my dad was stationed in Alaska before we moved on base. I wonder if our resident AK cop knows if that school was there in 1958. Jeeze am I old. Mountain View School, who'd a thunk.
