    He sounded desperate, like he broke under the pressure of the bills. Maybe some good will come out of this, like him getting psychological help while in jail. It is sad WHY he did it but the clerk is now a victim. This will probably stay with her the rest of her life.

        I just love the quote from the customer that says she isn't going to shop there anymore because the lady lied when she told him she wouldn't call the police

        Although I felt kind of bad for the guy after reading the first story, this update leaves me feeling differently.

        The man obviously has issues, but that doesn't give him the right to rob anyone.
