This is a case I seen the other day....
A company offers free software to download on the internet from their site as well as at download.com. , But the download never finishes. The person went to the company's web site and tried to download the free software, but still could not get it.An email was sent to the company requesting the software. The company then emailed back saying they would fix the D/L problem. While waiting, the person went to a download request form on the site and entered fake information to see it this would help with th D/L . Now,our question is.....Is this classed as impersonation to receive (free) software ? this matter as not gone to court yet, just thought I get some input..... ** Thank **
