  • How much do you spend at Christmas?

I buy for anybody and everybody.. I love to give gifts and watch people open them. I usually sponsor 2-3 kids off the giving tree at work and really go overboard on family and friends. I've tried to curtail it this year though.. Don't wanna go in debt! All in all, I usually spend about $600-800.

    How 'bout you?

I'm going to be spending about $2000 on myself *after* Christmas - (I get my retirement money from my previous job). I'm finally getting that Kimber, digital camera and some other goodies.

        Heh, Merry Christmas to me.

Maybe I'll take fuzzy pictures of my Kimber and post them on my site. *lol*

This year, I went WAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY overboard on Christmas, and spending in general.

I used part of my inheritance for furniture and for Christmas, both for family and friends.

I now have to severly curtail the spending to make sure I don't get back into debt. [Eek!]

But for the grace of God, we have my brother around for Christmas so we have gone all out in celebration of a year that was wonderful, horrible, then horrible and wonderful! However, it will end up with the celebratiom of the beauty of Christmas. probably close to 2000 dollars not including food and goodies.

The most expensive gift went to my cat today as I paid 1200 dollars for his surgery! Only a petlover would understand that!!

Well, in '94, my wife bought me a $9000 motorcycle. (D*mn thing was the wrong color! )I've been trying to catch up ever since.

This year I bought her a $4,000 horse. I fiqure when you add in the truck and trailer, I've finally done it.

Unless she does something real outrageous. [Eek!]

I spend $25 on each family member... along with sisters i have nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and -nephews... so a family with 2 kids gets a $100 gift certificate to say, Old Navy. which is what they want. they live far way and then can shop for themselves. they usually just buy some clothes for the kids.

I spend much more on a S/O or spouse. I guess the most expensive gift i got my ex-husband was motorcycle tires and a Lazy-boy.

I just took the poll... i see you wanted a total lol. i was under Big Spender.

Money? Spending? Sorry, that's the wife's department. Although, I DO notice a great disparity between what I brought home this month and the $2.67 I have left right now.......could it be this "Christmas" of which y'all speak?
